Visual Journaling: Self-discovery through creative play

Artists, scientists, poets, philosophers, and explorers have historically used a journal to investigate and chronicle their inner lives and outer worlds.

This mixed media class is for those who wish to discover a window into your inner life and free your creative voice. You will work in a blank sketchbook with an assortment of water-based art materials, collage and writing exercises to create a personal visual journal. Come explore a unique form of creative self-expression in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

No previous art/writing experience is needed!

The creative processes you will engage in will teach you to:

  • Explore and play with art media, images and words
  • Discover a window into your inner life
  • Free your creative voice
